Why Silver Eagle?
We’ve worked in the hospitality industry and experienced the frustrations posed by traditional EPOS systems—their limitations, their inflexibility, their inadequate reporting capabilities, their garish and cluttered screens, their inability to support stock management and staff time management.
This prompted us to ask those working in hospitality what features would be on their wish list. Then we designed a fresh solution, utilising next generation technology in order to tick all the boxes. With traditional EPOS, the tills are stand-alone units which have been linked to a basic back office administration function. It’s a clumsy and unreliable system, with very limited capabilities. Our system is configured totally differently—the tills are dumb slaves that run off a server using a Linux operating system.
