Bottelinos Restaurants
Started over 30 years ago with one restaurant in Broadmead, Bristol, Bottelinos restaurants have kept going from strength to strength and have just opened their eighth restaurant in Weston-Super-Mare.With Bottelinos constant expansion they realise they required an EPOS system that would be flexible and highly comprehensive to allow them to remove the need for pen and paper and computerise all their daily processes. TableBookings, Pre Orders and staff time management are all now processed through their Silver Eagle EPOS system giving the greater control over the business and helping to eliminate potential problems.The system was first installed in the award winning Bedminster Restaurant before going into the newly opened Weston-Super-Mare restaurant.
All branches have been successful and have been awarded by the Pizza and Pasta Association.
In 2006 the firm won awards for Independent Pizza Restaurant of the Year and Pasta Chef of the Year and became Italian Restaurant of the Year in 2007. Last week it won the title of Restaurant Chain of The Year for 2008.The new restaurant, built over two floors, offers 280 seats and officially opened its doors on November 25.Mike Botta, managing director at Bottelino's said the family were proud of their achievements."We have put a lot of work into the Bottelino's brand over the last few years and the success of our Bedminster restaurant – the Independent Pizza Restaurant of the Year – was the final proof that we were ready to expand further across the West Country and beyond.
"We pushed ahead with our plans and opened several other chains across the region, which are in the main run by members of the Botta family including my brothers Gino and Raffaele Botta, sons Pino and Dante Botta and cousin Angelo Nicastro."I thought Weston was a good location, as it is a growing town with a population of more than 70,000 people and I had thought about opening there for years.

Bottelino's have no plans to slow down with a 400-seater restaurant planned for Harbour Road at Portishead Quays planned for opening in 2009 along with work on ventures in Taunton and Trowbridge under way. Silver Eagle are very pleased to have teamed up with Bottelinos and look forward to a working together as both brands expand.
